Emily Fowler · 58m
I have the photos that you ordered last month, how would you like them sent to you?

Am I a good boy? The reason I ask is because someone told me that people say this to all dogs, even if they aren't good...

Description
The vaccine helps with the immunity against Hepatitis B infections. Liver diseases are caused by the hepatitis B virus and it can cause a chronic and acute infection. Chronic illnesses comprise hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver, and liver cancer. Vaccine consists of one HBV antigen in it. Since this antigen does not hold any capacity for causing infection, it is safe and cannot cause disease but is strong enough to elicit an immune response from the body.

Timing Note
Vaccination is very important since in most cases, there are no noticeable symptoms at the beginning of infection with hepatitis B. This way, the virus can be transmitted unknowingly. The vaccine helps stop transmission within communities and people with weakened immune systems may not respond adequately to the vaccine, in turn, more doses are recommended by healthcare providers or testing to ensure immunity has been achieved
Effectiveness Note
The vaccine is very effective. More than 90–95% of healthy individuals develop protective immunity after the full series of vaccines is completed. Protection lasts for a long time, continuing for decades in most cases; indeed, most people never require booster doses in their lifetimes to remain protected. The vaccine has dramatically reduced not only the incidences of hepatitis B infections but also chronic liver diseases and liver cancers that were attributable to the infection in countries where vaccination coverage became extensive.
Duration Note
Three doses are required. If you are following the accelerated course, a fourth dose is needed after 12 months.
Risk Information
High Risk Areas (one per line)

The hepatitis B vaccine's super safe. Most side effects are just a bit of soreness where you got the vaccine, maybe a slight fever, and fatigue. Allergic reaction happened rarely serious diseases. There is greater risk of harm from hepatitis B infection than from the vaccine for hepatitis B

Traveller Risk Factors (one per line)

Getting vaccinated before travelling is a key step in safeguarding your health, the health of those around you, and the public health of the communities you visit. For Hepatitis B, it is advisable to get the first dose at least 8 weeks before departure.

Protection Information
Protection Title
Protection Description
The hepatitis B surface antigen is what the vaccine gets the immune system to start making antibodies against. When someone who's been vaccinated comes into contact with the virus later on, their body's antibodies recognize it and stop it from getting into the liver cells. The reason why hepatitis B disease and complication can be prevented for a long time is that of immune memory.
