Emily Fowler · 58m
I have the photos that you ordered last month, how would you like them sent to you?

Am I a good boy? The reason I ask is because someone told me that people say this to all dogs, even if they aren't good...

Timing Note
Shingrix is a two-dose vaccine. NHS offers it routinely from age 65; available privately for those aged 50 and over and for immunocompromised adults aged 18+.
Effectiveness Note
It has been demonstrated in clinical studies that the shingles vaccine prevents shingles and post-herpetic neuralgia in more than 90 percent. The general coverage of high levels is seen in all age groups, including adults aged 70 and above. The protection lasts no less than 10 years after vaccination, and further research is pointing towards long-term immunity.
Duration Note
The Shingles vaccine is recommended for adults over the age of 50, as they are more likely to develop Shingles.
Risk Information
High Risk Areas (one per line)
Not travel-related – shingles risk increases with age and immunosuppression Risk of reactivation exists worldwide for anyone who has had chickenpox
Traveller Risk Factors (one per line)
Adults aged 50 and over Immunocompromised individuals (from age 18) Previous chickenpox infection People with stress, illness, or weakened immunity
Protection Information
Protection Title
Protection Description
The shingles vaccine induces a strong antibody and a cellular immune response against the varicella-zoster virus in the immune system. This immunity much lessens the chances of getting shingles, as well as decreases the chances of getting permanent nerve discomfort in case of an infection. Vaccination is a good, long-term prevention of one of the most frequent viral complications of the elderly population.
