Protection Information
Protection Title: The most frequent viral complications of the elderly population.
Protection Description: The shingles vaccine induces a strong antibody and a cellular immune response against the varicella-zoster virus in the immune system. This immunity much lessens the chances of getting shingles, as well as decreases the chances of getting permanent nerve discomfort in case of an infection. Vaccination is a good, long-term prevention of one of the most frequent viral complications of the elderly population.
